So I recently moved to Honolulu, HI from Dayton, OH. I know…what a pain! J/K. Anyways I am a Grad Student at Hawaii Pacific University and am working on my MA in Diplomacy and Military Studies. I am also planning on getting a Graduate Certificate in Emergency and Disaster Relief Management, and have just finished a Graduate Certificate in National Security Advising. What a combination those will be! Everyone is always asking me what I will do with this…and I always answer “work for an NGO and negotiate with foreign bodies/governments to allow aid relief into their country”. Do I want to work for the government…not really…but I’m betting that I will take whatever job comes my way after I’m done here! If I’m lucky this blog will move from Hawaii to some other part of the world! In the meantime, I am just finishing up my Masters Thesis proposal, and if approved, it will be a historical analysis of exclusion in the Great Lakes region of Africa. Keep everyone posted!
